6·2 months agoI got a Minis forum S100 PC stick. It does work well with kodi. But! It can be a load of work to get going. This device is using a UFS storage chip. So not all distros will install on it by default and require some tweaks to load kernel modules at boot. I use the device with alpine Linux and kodi GBM on top (libreelec doesnt see the storage device).
Also keep a eye out for what the CPU supports on these lower end chips. Not all of them have great hardware decoding support.

1·3 months agoHow did you even get that conclusion from my post? Like I said and maybe you missed it in my first comment… But he’s “Linux choices and info could defiantly be improved”
I don’t think steam OS is a great choice for a general use desktop. Far from it actually. I don’t even use many of the hyped distros my self. Mainly staying on opensue, alpine and some others for my stuff.
Still saying “Linux” and mentioning KDE being viable for desktop use is a good thing.

158·3 months agoSo despite all the controversy about LTT. If we can put that aside for a moment. I do think this is in general good advertising for Linux. LTT does have a very large audience. And a lot of “normie” users that watch as well. He’s Linux choices and info could defiantly use some improvements though.

Each of the rooms has their own dashboard you can access by dubble clicking it, the energy Dashboard’s is still a wip.

Around 1000-1200 watt continuously. Still our electricity cost is less then 0.
Anyway my old 11gen dell power edge servers cause the biggest power draw. But I am not ready to upgrade them due to the current memory shortage.
