Ok fair enough it’s outlook, it’s supposed to be online

What? No. The whole point of a mail client is to avoid webmails.

Fucking outlook won’t even open without a connection. It’s a fucking mail client, not webmail. The assholes at Microsoft are just goddamn braindead.

Derivatives are too risky

Never happened to me, I think I must have updated 6-8 years of releases with zero issues, even moved the SSD to a new laptop with no problems

Oh no, they have to run sudo dnf group install multimedia once in the terminal!

I have a pair of old-ish but expensive Sony bluetooth over-the-ear headphones. On Windows, their microphone doesn’t work. I’ve searched the web and apparently, that’s just it, nothing I can do.

Let’s just say that Linux invites tinkering, and there are consequences. If you install a mainstream (fedora), reliable (fedora) distro, and just do normal stuff, it’s unlikely you’ll encounter more issues than Windows. Or even a tenth of the issues.

Eh, better than it coming from data centers

In case, like me, you’re wondering what umu is:

This is a unified launcher for Windows games on Linux. It is essentially a copy of the Steam Runtime Tools and Steam Linux Runtime that Valve uses for Proton, with some modifications made so that it can be used outside of Steam.

Why yes debian?

What a great software

I still have my black Core 2 duo Black Macbook, it’s cut to a 4th of its size, a magnet is stuck near the lid sensor and it outputs video from the port on the side.

I mean it used to output, I haven’t tried turning it on in like a decade

He now has a fancier PC, courtesy of LTT.

I have a raidz5 array of 8tb drives, one died, replaced it with no issues

Terrible redundancy

Same, but I’m on Linux and I don’t feel like jumping through hoops right now

It jumps up quickly to a bigger size and then keeps increasing more slowly if you keep shaking it.
