          I’m pretty sure the money is real. Nvidia has like 10.6 billion dollars in cash on hand in the bank (down quite a bit because they’ve been giving it out like candy). Apple and Oracle have similarly insane numbers. All these big companies have been hoarding assets for years. The AI companies have been using the very real cash from those hoarding companies in exchange for a share of themself. That’s where it’s made up.

          The air quotes around “bought” is valid more because they haven’t actually bought anything, they’ve promised to buy future manufacturing time.

      I’m pretty sure everyone is putting RAM manufacturers in the hot seat. But unfortunately there are the ones that set the prices and everyone else that purchases from them either directly or purchases items that have RAM in them which is you know everything electronic like that really doesn’t have much of a choice.
