Linux gaming is on fire 🔥, 2026 ♥️

So, is Bazzite barefeet?

I love Forgejo, it’s SO freaking good. However, I really need it to have issue retagging when moving them between different kanban columns and a proper API to manage it all from elsewhere.

And EA’s anti cheat is also on the way, maybe we’ll see FC28 on Linux. What else are normies missing, Roblox?

Let these guys move to Linux, the more, the merrier. This is for them.

They saw WH40K: SM2 and Helldivers 2 and suddenly felt inspired?

Matrix is great, it can replace a whole lot of messaging apps, but not Discord.

Somebody should build a AreWeNvidiaYet website where it tracks the issues Nvidia needs to sort out in order for it to work on Linux as well as AMD & also Intel to a slightly lesser degree.

I freaking love Bazzite, also if you have a weak laptop slap Aurora on it. It’s crazy good too, same family.

This video from BULKHEAD explains their approach to anti-cheat for their upcoming game, WARDOGS, emphasizing transparency with the community before the Early Access launch on September 10th.

Key Anti-Cheat Points

The #1 Rule: Developers typically avoid discussing anti-cheat systems to prevent providing information to cheat developers (1:37). Multi-Layered Strategy: They employ four distinct systems working in tandem, including preventative barriers, machine learning, and telemetry analysis (1:51).

The Reality

They acknowledge that cheaters will inevitably find ways to break through. They ask the community to help by not boosting or reposting footage of cheaters, as this gives them the attention they crave (3:43). Community Role: The most effective tool is the in-game report function, which is reviewed by a dedicated team (5:37).

Community Servers

For the ultimate protection, the developers offer community-hosted servers where administrators are equipped with Archon tools to instantly ban bad actors (6:34).

Additionally, the video notes that the $100K clip contest is running until October 8th (0:54) and confirms that approved hosting partners are now taking pre-orders for community servers (8:35).

I love the Bluefin project, but JC’s YouTube channel has been posting some pretty confusing AF stuff.

Guys I reviewed the Linux kernel and now it boots at x80 faster straight into the BIOS! How cool is that?

Just a reminder that real Discord alternatives already exist, like Stoat and Fluxer.

Imagine if you can’t find your loved one for some reason, car crash, or out of gas and they can’t communicate (no reception, dead battery). Having quick access to their timeline facilitates a fast response.

These kind of apps have a ton of value for emergencies and the overall security of a family.

Hi, I have both Dawarich and Reitti installed, I tend to use Reitti a lot more because it shows my family on the map as soon as I log in, and I can review their timelines as well.

Any chance this could make it into Dawarich?

VBS is a software engineering acronym for: Vicious Boob Size

Sounds good, fingers crossed someone picks it up soon.

I’ve heard rumors about an ongoing effort to integrate RomM, any word on this? I haven’t found an official statement on the matter.

I dream of this every day 🤣

There were games I couldn’t play because of games for Windows live login requirement and their backend remained broken. I don’t trust them for the long run.

The only way I would buy this is if it didn’t require Xbox login, and that ain’t happening anytime soon.

Does Kura allow for user defined checks?

Good move ! Congrats on the app, I don’t have a use for it, but people love it. Thank you for making it!
