CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT TIME!!!

Go by some Avery labels and print out the logos. Then iron a couple onto nice cotton tees. Who’ll know the difference?
Honestly, as a cheapskate, I’ve done this more than once. Only thing I can’t do is embroider lol, so lil vinyl patch works. Just print a bunch at the same time to save labels 😅

🤔 fuck… You know, idk. I would assume so since they’re just existing logos, but you meaning the vector files?

I wish!! Work devices… I’ve been buying PCs with DDR4 RAM to avoid the price gouging at this point.

The cost of RAM and GPUs are up a shitload. This would likely be a $2500-3000 build normally, before gouging. The x090 series I think we’re getting as high as $1500-2k by themselves, before “inflation” which was ridiculous.
If it were boxed for a year, it was inflated prices but not a bad as now, it could likely be $6-7k now. I reluctantly bought ram last August at $180 for 64GB DDR5, which made me cringe, but Newegg still carries out, and it’s over $1000 now 🤮

My solution is LineageOS as it functions on dozens if not a couple hundred phones. Rocking a One+ currently.

Instead, and replaced EPA standards for greenhouse gases and burning COAL! Cool -__-

Yikes, and I thought I hated my LG fridge with the stupid compressor issues 4 times in 5 years across 2 fridges.

Nothing really exists.
The likely extreme thing I did was setup ManageEngine’s MDM+ (free for<25 users) and put my sons phone on a “device profile” which locks it down. It’s decently intuitive, but does require a “server” so there’s a bit of setup too. I use YT at work too so for me it was done in 30 minutes.

There’s probably an alert you can configure within the alarm manager. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

I’m hoping that changes!! They have POE Siren and Air quality, they could make a 3-wire wifi version if they were smart!

Our shitty detectors that came with our new home sucked, so I went out and bought nicer Kidde ones (nearly $60/ea) and those sucked. Getting ready to take the dive to Ubiquiti and their Superlink version, but I might hold off considering they’re $90/ea and I have 8 to replace… Again…

On older hardware I would agree it can be cumbersome. At work, I’ve swapped everything to Ubiquiti and it’s a couple clicks and I’m there. I liked it so much I did it at home with some caveats. Local account only and blocking anything phoning home.
I’ve got Chinese cameras too, they’re on their own VLAN,ext traffic is blocked simply.

I’m going to go out in a limb and die on it, that: why overcomplicate things with Docker containers?? I didn’t read through your post; The title, to me, doesn’t require it based on what you’re doing. I then read you’re Problem box and confirmed you don’t need NVR on Docker. Seems overkill or really, pointless.
A. Do you absolutely NEED the VLAN for your NVR? Why not just isolate the devices on the network with a bogus DNS record or FW rule blocking via MAC or IP? B. Why run NVR through Docker? I hate devs who only containerize and don’t allow for options. Deal killer, personally. But it it has a native option, why not run that? It’s just extra steps for traffic to pass through which feels like a complicated bottleneck.
Idk, you do you. I’m SURE I’ll get hate for this comment, but sometimes you need to take a steep back and think about what’s necessary vs what’s for fun for learning. I’d you can, hey great! If you can’t, or it breaks, how much time do you now want to spend learning how to troubleshoot?

Why keep DNS on Cloudflare?? Quad9 is where it’s at! Supports DNSSEC, DoT or DoH, QUIC, no log, no BS.
Want it on your phone out and about (and not already using a VPN?) https://dns.quad9.com/dns-query or use the app.
I use Porkbun for registrar. Many are at cost with no low price intro to lure you in. I pay $17/yr for my unitedwith.me domain. Free private WHO IS, free SSL through LetsEncrypt, cheap WP hosting.
