The G900 series doesn’t have that, or at least it didn’t when I bought mine like 8-10 years ago.
I’ve had several MS mice, keyboards, and various electronics from many manufacturers that do that though. I hate it as well, and actively avoid buying things coated in it.
That said, sometimes you can melt it off with acetone. What you are left with depends on whatever it started as though.
