Steam manages this for you on any distro it runs on, nowadays you dont even need to worry about it anymore.
Without steam you can run umu-launcher (basically valves solution with steam removed) directly, or use one of the many gui-programs that manage wine/proton prefixes for you like for example bottles.
umu-launcher and the gui solutions require wine or proton, I recommend proton-GE, a soft fork of valves upstream proton with experimental patches and gamefixes added.
Fuck Denuvo, but ive had absolutely no problems running games that included that piece of malware.
I mean, you can always try Choicer Voicer over Jitsi/Stoat/Discord and then try to patch its audio using pipewire into the microphone capture in Choicer Voicer. Might not work though, I havent tried it.
true. I will adjust my comment. Good logo!
Lineage is not gegoogled? You have to install google services seperatly, when does it connect?
I suppose if corporate status is inherited that may be correct. in my opinion, its a bit too far removed to be corporate. Asahi linux is a purely volunteer distro, and ubuntu mobile was discontinued years ago, and is also purely volunteers-run nowadays.
There are some weird picks here. Is replicant even maintained anymore? UBports and Asahi Linux in Corpo-ish? And what do you have against LineageOS?
I personally have no faith in Xlibre, its developer(s?) seem inexperienced and their contributions to x11 codebase are of low quality
Thankfully there are other projects around keeping x11 alive:
theres xwayland-satellite, which implements more of x11 in wayland so you can basically run an x11 session with wayland support.
And than there is phoenix, which is a new implementation of x11. Supposedly it shall have none of the legacy garbage code that makes x11 so hard to maintain.
Jami is an old project, they have been around wayy before LLMs.
