I’ve recently made my Forever World as wanted to document the journey instead of what I done previously on my 6 Year Old world of just play but;
Q: Did I use a random or pre-selected seed?
A: Pre-Selected from my Previous World, The generation is completely different but I love it
Q: Do you allow friends or play solo?
A: Currently Solo but plans are in place to allow friends join
Q: Will you reset chunks to make room for new biomes / terrrain features with updates?
A: I don’t like resetting chunks, so personally won’t especially with modern updates blending the new biomes there’s no real need to other than possibly storage space but that’s one of the many joys of older worlds
Q: What mods do you use?
A: vv

Q: What difficulty did you select?
A: Hard due to certain things only happening 100% of the time such as villagers turning into zombified ones when killed by a Zombie
Q: What gamrules did you change?
A: None, I don’t mind most of the default gamerules but who knows might tweak a few things in the long-run
Q: How long has it been going?
A: This world is very new and is younger than your post but my previous world that I hold close to my heart was 6 years and the only reason I dropped that world was because of wanting to create videos and document it and 6 years worth of missing lore was not great for me.

If plays ever come back (and you still have the original files) if they wish for there original items back you could check the metadata for the player and give them back what they got before as that might help push them to play instead of having to reset, some players often feel demotivated by loosing things and is often why people leave worlds
