Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•PS5 Linux Dev Drops Project After "Slop Kiddies" Cash in on Crucial ExploitEnglish
3·29 days agoThis really sucks. The future of a lot of 2010s gaming consoles depended on vulnerabilities being found in early versions of firmware - where they were likely to be made, since most features were built in those versions - that never get patched through to later releases. We probably shouldn’t be surprised that sloppers are self-centered, greedy, and lazy enough to publish this immediately to Sony, since they probably think they deserve credit for being the AI race horse’s owner. Fuck the millions of console owners in 10 years, I guess.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Hosting SearXNG behind a VPNEnglish
2·2 months agoUhm, well I don’t think there’s a searXNG config line for that. I basically just copied what my qbit container had for network_mode and made sure to expose the 8080 in gluetun instead of searXNG. Then, I had nginx point to gluetun’s container name to provide https.

3·3 months agoMaybe I can add but not all GPUs of the same model are built the same. Some are built without fuses and other protection circuits and could fail earlier. Northwestrepair makes videos about these GPUs taking about some of the different manufacturers. Maybe join his discord if you want to get more info?

12·3 months agoThe actual non-AI article about the dam: https://www.axpo.com/ch/en/energy/generation-and-distribution/solar-power/alpinsolar.html
Here are some images of the dam sourced from Axpo encoded from 117MiB to 626 KiB (720p AVIF)

2·3 months agothis comment should be at the top. My dumbass didn’t realize this was an AI image
I encoded the actual images down in another comment

What about trial chambers? Aren’t those much better ways of collecting copper, if you can shear the wax off?
