I have to do this on new systems now just to get a Ctrl key back…

Here are the steps I did to remap “copilot key” to right control in Ubuntu 22.04.

1. Install keyd from ppa
   1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:keyd-team/ppa
   2. sudo apt update
   3. sudo apt install keyd
2. Create default config file, /etc/keyd/default.conf, with contents

[ids]

[main]

leftshift+leftmeta+f23 = rightcontrol

3. Reload config: sudo keyd reload or sudo systemctl restart keyd
   • I had to reboot in this step because a lock file was blocking keyd to reload.

(For keyd installed via PPA, the binary may be called keyd.rvaiya, but the systemd unit is always keyd.)

I’m rich!

Too bad they’re all ddr1 and ddr2

Alpine is an interesting choice for hosting, really curious what situation you’re hosting in that would require that level or lightness for a distro?

“What then?”

“Same as it ever was!”

We all fight over resources that actually matter (like food, water, shelter and security) instead the previous things (money), for the enjoyment of our overlords.

Seriously, the people who have power to change the outcome of the future seem to either straight not be planning for this future scenario, or are planning for a horribly distopian version of this future scenario.
