What is the point in building teeny tiny homes if they’re going to be placed six feet apart and have no private space. The whole point of a small compact house is it leaves space over for communal stuff. This feels like an American visited Europe and completely failed grasp the point.
They’ve moved on to mirrors in space now, after briefly experimenting with advertising on the moon which they gave up on when they realised no one would be able to see it.

I’ve been in cars with electronic doors and the emergency latch is always super obvious, brightly coloured, and in one case glowed in the dark. For some reason Tesla feel the need to hide it.
I wish we had more variation in car designs but I suppose it would make licencing difficult. I’d like it if we could drive with foot pedals, push down to accelerate and twist left and right to turn like how it works on an aircraft. Then you could drive hands-free.
Not only does it fail to pass basic safety tests it’s also too heavy to drive on a normal licence in pretty much all the countries of the world. It weighs so much that it qualifies as a truck, not a pickup truck, a six wheeler. It’s so heavy it has to take alternate routes around old bridges.
Even if it was legal in Europe, it’d be such an inconvenience to drive that no one would want one.
GTA V was released back in the PS3 era. They’ve changed a lot since then as a company.
What I don’t understand is what even is the point in crunch time for Rockstar? The game is already being delayed by over a year so it’s not like they have some target release date they need to stick to. If it needs another 6 months it needs another 6 months, I’m beyond caring at this point.
Proximity matters but only up to a point. The Islands aren’t that close to Argentina, I can’t remember what the exact limit is but under international law islands along to the country whose coastline is closest to them up to a distance of 10 nautical miles as long as there is no claim already in place. Of course that’s an international treaty which historically didn’t necessarily count, which is why you’ve got things like American Samoa and Hawaii.

The only way Argentina has legitimate claim to the island would be if Spain still maintained the claim to the island at the time Argentina became independent and even then they would have to have to cead the Falkland Islands to Argentina. Which of course never happened.
Well the islands are settled now and they’re settled by people who think they’re British so I can’t really see how you can functionally come to the conclusion that there is any mystery.
Argentina’s claim to the islands seems to be their they are sort of close to Argentina, although far enough out to be an international waters and there was once a Spanish settlement there back before Argentina existed as a country. By the time Argentina became its own country the Spanish settlement was no longer in existence.
So from most of human history the islands were uninhabited or only sporadically inhabited and we’re talking the level of driftwood huts here, no permanent structures. If anyone had any legitimate claim to the island it would be Spain they were the first to build proper buildings on the islands, at least they had a settlement there until they abandoned it, but then they quite happily sold the rights to the land to the British.

That’s one of the problems with having an open loop. Cold water comes in and it has a tiny quantity of an infectious agent, far too smaller quantity to be a problem for anyone.
Then Meta kindly warms that water up by running it through lots of hot computers, the bacterium multiply and do so at a rate proportionate to the temperature (if it goes too hot they die but I doubt even an AI data centre is going to get that hot), then the water gets dumped back into the mains water grid complete with all its lovely infectious agents.
You get bacteria growing in closed loop systems as well, that isn’t an issue because it’s closed loop you just have to clean it out every now and then.
That’s the problem with making RAM so expensive. It’s not physically very big so you can fit a lot of it in a truck

I was going to push back on your point here, but then I couldn’t think of a game that makes a good counterpoint.
The Finals, Battlefield 5 (amazingly it has no loot boxes), Helldivers 2, Arc Raiders, all have anti-cheat so need kernel level access, but they’re not predatory.
It’s only slow if you’re running a slow computer. Anyway it’s way faster than all your electron apps which each insist on taking up four for gigabytes of RAM
