  • I’m sorry your wife lost her father, but his life objectively isn’t more important than any single other person’s. Many people dont get memorials or ceremonies to dedicate to them with their names spoken out and remembered through history. I will be hoping she can move forward with her life and heal from having a father who is gone, but I won’t be mourning any more for her or you or anyone else who was victimized that day any longer than I do the Iraqis and Afghanis who paid the price. In fact, I will likely never think of your wife or her father, but I still can never forget of all those dead Iraqis and Afghanis who were killed and raped in your father in laws name.

Jesus was a failed prophet who kept saying the world was going to end and it never did and trashed a temple because of it and that got him killed by the state.

If he were alive today he’d be a youtuber talking about UFOs and aliens coming to save humanity because they hate nukes and saying that all we have to do is be good people to have the aliens save us

  • AI was already doing good before ChatGPT and LLMs like folding proteins which shaped human history. I am really drilling down on LLMs and the sell to CEOs that generative AI can replace employees or that it is worth transforming the economy over. It’s not. Computers had a dotcom bubble which made computers useful by creating the infrastructure for engineers to be produced by universities and companies to use the networking tech. Its not like video games were keeping computers alive. See: Nvidia before bitcoin and ai made them the most valuable company ever

LLMs wont be making anyones lives better any time soon. AI already did things for humanity before them. Computer neural networks existed before AI. It was called machine learning. Member the ML days before tech bros called it AI? I do.

    Political views

Porat supported Hillary Clinton for president in 2008 and 2016, hosting fundraisers for her at the Dakota in New York City.[54]

In 2011, Porat expressed her support for increased taxes on the wealthy and declared on the topic of significant spending decreases that “we cannot cut our way to greatness”.[55]

In March 2025, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie named Porat as co-chair of “The Partnership for San Francisco” alongside Laurene Powell Jobs.[56]

Gotta love liberals being liberals. You can always count on em being complete wastes of space in the face of fascism.
