I’m an anarchocommunist, all states are evil.
Your local herpetology guy.
Feel free to AMA about picking a pet/reptiles in general, I have a lot of recommendations for that!

5·1 month agoThis is the one that lets me blanket enable Wayland, just need the steam client itself and I can disable xwayland, the end of an era! Rt3 and wow64 means finally getting rid of 32bit nonsense too
Finally a garbage-free system is in reach. Fucking ship wayland already valve.

6·2 months agoThey posted something about steam input working if I remember correctly so I think that’s solved.
You should really use endeavoros for this, manjaros team is wildly incompetent and does way too much (which is a problem since they can’t get the basics right)

21·2 months agoYour example falls flat on two counts
Llm’s that only have one glyph per token can easily count this, and yeah we train in bursts because it’s computationally cheaper, this hardly means anything important.

Technology@beehaw.org•At colleges, the AI boom means everyone wants to dabble in computer scienceEnglish
1·3 months agoYes, it’s hard, but we are pouring billions of dollars into this, and have the necessary frameworks. None of that factors in the exponential rate of progress and the vast amount of additional funding going to this project now. It will be difficult, but a chore robot is still on the horizon and once it’s done and working in homes, the next step will happen too.

1·3 months agoWhat’s the basis of this statement?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S67z2aekBrI I’m not seeing many experts who don’t think this is around the corner and you can really see why in this video where he does the work himself.
I don’t see any reason to think this is more than ten years out?

i’m a recent nixos convert… I think once they improve the ux a bit it’s literally the best of all worlds. fantasic idea. UX and documentation issues take a lot of patience though… a lot.
