I’ll do some digging, it doesn’t work on my Ubuntu Wayland as of last week

does screen share work on Wayland yet?

The one on the right with a crank is the “playdate” I think.

I assume the middle one is an e-ink reader of some sort.

No idea the red one on the left

Used to? Maybe you need to upgrade your keyboard!

I tried arch for th first time a few weeks ago and honestly it wasn’t that bad. A little intimidating for sure but I got an os running first try in a few hours.

Usually I only break my system when I’m trying to do stuff that most casual users will never do.

Linux desktops have come so long in the last 10 or 15 years

That makes me so incredibly happy.

I only read Children of Time. I need to get off my ass

Proxmox is a hypervisor. I would install that as your os if that is something you want.

If you just need containers, podman is good. Docker is fine, but podman is open source.

That being said, I run proxmox on my server and have various vms running. I have a laptop that I will use to play with containers and if it turns into a service I want I’ll make it run on proxmox, either as a container itself or as something running on a VM on the hypervisor
