The only time I’ve had breaking, post-update issues was a brief run with Manjaro around 2019.

That’s cool. Dosbox-pure is the only reason I still use retroarch.

But one thing is using the retroarch core it automatically maps commonly used keys for dos games to handheld controller, which is nice. Does anyone know if this standalone version will have some function like that?

The Sony k-series. I had the k850i. Such a cool phone but pressing the tiny stiff buttons hurt so much after a while.

Haven’t seen that come up a lot. I have seen “I want official support from valve” and “I want to support valve”. Not so much of what you’ve suggested.

I play cyberpunk and similar sized games from an SD card on steam Deck. It’s not brutal.

I’ve been daily driving cosmic for 6 months and it’s worked great. I guess if you’re trying unconventional stuff you might get into breaking it, but otherwise you’ll just find some minor annoyances.
