Lemme guess, another Arch Linux user?
I say because I only know two people in my life who are transitioning or have transitioned, and both are Arch Linux users.

Well the first time I ran Linux was in 99-2000, before I had proper internet (one needed to buy these prepaid dialup cards and winmodems wouldn’t work on Linux), so actually had to buy a book ‘The Linux Bible’. Used that book a lot, especially in the early days to troubleshoot LILO (Before GRUB) bootloader and configure dual boot. Of course, once internet was readily available, online search / forums replaced those books. Last book I bought was about redhat/mandrake rpm packaging.
Yup, as a Debian user I feel this old and the only person I personally know, who have transitioned is an Arch user.
This hurts because Debian is named after a couple (Debra Lynn and Ian Murdock) who got married and divorced and Ian passed away. Going with Debian is a lifetime of hurt.
On the other hand Arch girls are described in Rick James’s song “Superfreak”.
3/3 for arch
