mainly because it has no dynamic filtering matrix, and it has no logger comparable to uBO’s

Still wrong.

Wether an adblock is native or an extension does nothing to circumvent the native limitations of V3 that exists on all chromium browsers

As I’ve already stated several times, that’s simply not true. MV3 literally only applies to extensions. But thanks for dumbing it down for me.

I can believe that the features that work on V3 encompass your personal needs

This has nothing to do with my “personal needs”, this is a technical discussion.

What “screen”?

If you don’t want to provide sources, that’s your prerogative. But don’t expect not to be treated like a fool for it.

When you mentioned “native adblock in chromium” That does exists and it requires no extension.

Yes. That’s what I’m referring to when I said 3 times that it’s not an extension.

But they are never as fully featured as the full Ubo extension

But it is. It’s the exact same functionality, built into the browser, natively.

I don’t know what that has to do with the conversation. For the third time, we’re talking about a native implementation. Not an extension.

Go on and…back up the thing you said with some facts somewhere?

Go on…?

Are you asking just for general self-hosted messengers? Why did you mention Facebook specifically?

Seconding Sable.

Google funds Firefox so it has their hands on it anyway. And Mozilla has proven to be a poor steward of Firefox anyway. I’m just not so sure one is better than the other anymore.

It’s not impossible. mv3 pertains to extensions and, as I said, it’s not an extension, it’s built natively into the browser.

They do. It works exactly the same.

Several Chromium browsers have native adblocking built in at this point. No extensions required.

The displays on folding phones are notoriously soft. So soft that you can easily scratch them with a fingernail. Their inherent fragility combined with limited usefulness and wild pricing has kept me far away from them.

Their utility is limited by the applications they’re used for. Look at the original Fold. It was “candy bar” shaped. Crazy tall when folded. But this meant media only consumed ~60% of the display when opened anyway, so largely useless for that application.

We’re seeing a clear trend toward wide phones on the market now, but that leads to crazy wide displays when folded, which means developing a new UI to do something with all that space.

I think your memory might be fuzzy. Samsung had to delay the rollout of the new 1st gen Fold because of hardware issues that showed their faces before they even sold them to customers.

Don’t they already have a bunch of xbox devices that run Windows?

Oof

Naughty boy

ELI5?

Nope, it’s just support added to the kernel
