I thought about that a few years ago and wrote this:

Ah, my bad. I would have understood this form on the first try:
“There’s a special hell for these sorts.” – Shepard Book, Firefly

Must be nice and pacifying to believe that.
I think they die of old age rich and powerful, and that’s the end of it, unless we make it otherwise now.
I agree. GrapheneOS is the best (unless Google hardware is backdoored - does anyone check microchips with a microscope?).
Lineage OS / iodeOS / etc:
/e/OS is very beginner-friendly (as was Mandrake Linux from the same guy) compared to GrapheneOS, and it has been translated to more languages. My newest opinion about /e/OS after 1.5 years of use: https://piefed.social/post/2293825#comment_12563961
Fairphones are sold with /e/OS too. It’s almost entirely deGoogled.

Blame the WWW. The web wasn’t being planned that crappy - there were supposed to be backups and complete edit history. Vannevar Bush, Ted Nelson, and Alan Kay had the right approach, of which Tim Berners-Lee hadn’t heard of back then.

I think it’s a funny warning by a good guy. The message is “get your shit together now before an all-out war”.
