Word Art is back!

Being explained in experience is the worst proof, it’s all bias. I should have been more clear, I want it to be true because it makes sense, but it is incorrect.

It tends to explain why entry level programmers act the way they do. Like when I graduated I was definitely on the peak of mount stupid but as I learned more I realized how little I knew. I did not externalize this as I was just trying to make iy through my days, however I have seen some entry levels absolutely fuck things up because they thought they were geniuses. It was exactly like that bell curve where idiots and experts do the same simple thing but mediocre people do the most complicated thing possible with 5 layers of abstraction.

They got super lucky on a niche genre. Apparently JRPGs are not marketable. They are going to make the game they want to make and hopefully you will want to play it.

They more recently did a refact to make it not look like an LLM wrote it. In April some friends and I went through the code base and wow was it obvious.

It’s like people have not been reviewing shit PRs for the last 18 months because their lazy fucking co-workers don’t want to code anymore.

Who is they? It’s one guy vibe coding. Take a look at the source.

If your are on a rolling release distro, that’s on you. Especially one that needs to build everything as part of the install process. We know what we signed up for.
