Immich’s image recognition works fine off the CPU. I did get it running an LMM, but it was useless.

My server’s old GPU (8gb) can’t run anything useful LLW wise I don’t think.

Have run some stuff locally on my main computer, but nothing setup as a proper service.

It turns out that without photos (in immich), my filesync requirements are much smaller and I could get away with a cheap cloud storage offering.

Still using sync thing for obsidian notes and pc <-> phone stuff.

Heard this pop up earlier and legit thought it was a scam

I assume the difficulty is the refrigerant plumbing? And integrating between different systems?

They might mean ground source heat pumps?

Has a nice UI, let’s me mix and match disks, let’s me host docker containers plus a VM with gpu pass through.

All basically out of the box. (Ok - Pass through was a bastard) All for a one off price.

I don’t know if there are other options that let me do all of that, unraid has always been the one mentioned.
