I’m contemplating buying this full price instead of waiting 3 years to buy the ultimate edition on sale as usual. On one hand I’m so excited about this that I have started (re)playing the remedyverse back catalogue. On the other, this is the least polished the game will ever be (not that it sounds like a buggy game) and I won’t be able to play the dlc with the game fresh in mind.

I’ve recently discovered that ray tracing in withcer 3 on Linux has been causing crashes after a driver update 6 months ago. Would be a great shame if they left it in that state for the new dlc

The article isn’t about a ddr4 stick being sold as ddr5, it’s about a ddr5 stick with re engraved ddr4 modules on it. There’s no point in going through the trouble of re engraving the modules as ddr5 just to put them on a ddr4 stick.

Idk, I assumed as they’re on a ddr5 stick their interface must be compatible or get translated somehow to make the computer boot up. Otherwise they could avoid all the trouble and ship an empty stick.

I don’t get it, isn’t this trivial to figure out by just plugging it in and seeing that it doesn’t run even at the slowest ddr5 speed?
