I really hope they don’t go that route.
A different licence for the commercial version isn’t a bad thing in se, in my opinion
Average torrenting enjoyer.

How so

Hello again! I managed to fix it. Wasn’t all that difficult tbh, but kind of a pain, without knowing why it broke. Turns out, there’s been a change in the docker compose, and the healthcheck i had in mine wasn’t necessary anymore. I think it was checking an old location where the modern tile-server wasn’t putting anything anymore, so the healthtracker thought the tileserver was down, even if it wasn’t. Removed it from the docker compose, and voilà. Thanks

I upgraded two weeks ago. I don’t exactly remember when. No mounted directories. Now that I think about it, the map wasn’t showing up before either. I though it was just my mobile connection that was bad. Yes, I do upgrade my docker containers from my phone when traffic is gridlocked. Anyway, doing a ‘docker system prune a’ when the containers are down, and then putting them back up, doesn’t fix things either…

Tried removing the tile-server directory, but it still says it’s unheathly. I’ll try debugging more tomorrow. Gosh dang it, I knew updating at night wasn’t a good idea

I think I’ve broken something…

Damn…

I use grayjay on my phone, and casts the videos via fcast.

Personally, I’ve had zero issues with nvidia drivers on arch, but I’m using a fairly recent gpu (3 years old rtx 6000), and for the flatpak issues, yeah that can be a bit more space (+time) used, but its a runtime that will be used by all future apps you’ll download, so eh, tradeoff

Good to know that void worked out for you, but I’m using linux for ease of use, and arch is plenty easy to use for me after all these years, so I’m gonna stay here lol
And I hate appimages, flatpaks are much better (when paired with a good and fast app store, like Bazaar)

I have 9gb to download to update my arch system. At this point it isn’t even a rolling distro anymore 😭

Oh damn, this is already pretty complete. Tested on android (smartphone) for now. Will test on android TV, as that’s my main content consumption device.
Nice to see syncplay already implemented, and (!) youtube too somehow?!
For now, I think the most prominent improvement i could think of is the implementation of libass for the subtitles; as right now they seem rendered plainly, meanwhile anime episodes often leverage complex .ass suptitles that support styles, ecc
Sweet! Keep those cable organized with some cable ties tho, wouldnt want them to fly off!
