It’s so worth that I did it twice.

It’s so worth that I did it twice.

Thank you, that makes a lot more sense

Thank you for the clarification, are they all still separate? I Just earlier today noticed that this one VM I use in the lab had Uniget but I originally had installed winget UI, and I noticed that it has options for the chocolately repo.

I troubleshoot linux for a living but it doesn’t hurt to know other OSs …
Windows has had for a while third party repositories like winget and chocolately that work just like our beloved repos.
I think the two I mentioned recently joined and renamed as “uniget”
I’ve considered it, but decent NUCs are much pricier than old discarded hardware.
I have a good source thru my job for tons of CTO hardware, these R230’s cost me about 50 bucks a pop, and considering they sip power they’re a really hard to pass deal, it sounds like a really good way to learn proxmox HA, load balancing and ceph minus the storage capacity
I guess I could still host a 10G nas on an r230 with a DAS, but my questions remain.
is crowdsec no longer the gold standard? I’ve been sself hosting since … forever and I’ve never heard of anubis, but I’ve seen it in the wild.
Suggesting a self hosted alternative in an enterprise environment is a no-no (unless you’re in a startup)
Any self respecting enterprise level business will require warranty and support which self hosted solutions do not offer. Good luck trying to get an “SLA” out of Anubis support, if it even exists.
Sounds to me like you need a WAF (if you want to self host it for some reason) there are other enterprise level services that specialize in this. Zscaler comes to mind, but there are dozens.
Free plug for my company because they help pay the bills.
