I switched from Debian to an arch based distro. holy shit is it weird reading about some new things latest release only to have it pushed to the repo the same month or even the same day! I use btrfs so when things break its a 5 minute rollback and reboot.

I am sorry to report, sir, that I have sold the avengers tower to the legion of doom.

“What why?”

Linux even has a better version of the delete System32/ “optimization” trick!

I have taken a couple classes in Linux centric forensics and one of the things I often wandered about is if there is an easy way to add jitter or shift individual file blocks by a word (64 bits) or even half the size of a data block. Say every two hours shift up or down so attempts to read a mechanical hard drive would be chaotic.

what’s the problem? it’s not like you dump the entire contents of your system’s ram to disk any time use hibernate /s

thanks to AI I don’t believe this is real. that said I wonder what the snipers on top of the white house thought as this was being assembled.

I have no idea as everyone I knew has been driven out of PC. last time I was there it felt like it had been hollowed out.

Park City was so different before the Olympics

I thought Sun Dance had been moved to be in Boulder but this look like Park City? Obviously an old photo given everything between Park City and Telluride seems to be on fire right now. /s (but only a little bit)
