I can’t believe Microsoft thinks this is a mature operating system.

I’m not sure they think that. At least not all the engineers. Management maybe. But they do sell it as such.

Thanks.

Maybe there was a power outage. There’s a good chance this is in the US of A. Maybe a geoguesser can confirm the location.

Not gonna install a rootkit on Linux, either.

At this point it might be quicker to make a list of updates that don’t break some essential functionality.

What does Christopher Street Day have to do with any of this?

So does Linux 🤷 And that comes with a bunch of other advantages.

So you’re saying it hasn’t been a month since it got cracked?

Seems to be roughly on par with the RX 6800, according to user benchmarks.com, so everything after should be an improvement. The -XT models are generally stronger. Also, in an attempt to adapt their naming schema to nvidia’s amd’s 7900 series was succeeded by the 90xx series.
Generally speaking nvidia seems to have the edge in ray-tracing, while amd offers faster rasterisation.

Why would anyone buy nvidia at this point?

You little shit!

Those letters rang a bell, but I couldn’t place them. DuckDuckWent and it turns out they’re the first block of my Win7 registration key.

Sadly, AMD’s Linux drivers are notorious for having trouble adjusting the clock speed. You may need to manually set the card to the highest speed before starting the test.

If you’re familiar with the setup and play something where latency matters (competitive FPS and rhythm games cone top mind) I guess it might be enough to their you off your game.
But on an unknown system, where you have no comparison, I’m not so sure.
