I thought you were joking, but they literally write that in the official announcement!?!?! 🤡🤡🤡 🤣🤣🤣
Goddam that almost killed me. 🤣
Not at all my experience, I started using Linux in 2005, and Ubuntu was part of an explosion in available help for new users,
but also many smaller distros had it, like for instance PC Linux which I think back on fondly.
Beginner friendly distros was as much a thing back then as it is today.
The biggest difference is more that Linux has become better, and some things are a lot easier today.
Even Arch has an easy installer now!

Yes, I think 16A is pretty common, maybe it’s only old installations that are 10A?

No sorry, I went off topic a bit.
But we still typically have more power in standard sockets with 2300W being the minimum.
So not quite as close to the limit of a normal household socket here. But it’s still crazy.

As a European I can’t help smirking a bit, we have 2300 W on a single 10 amp connection.
Usually kitchen has its own even in small apartments.
Most have 400V 16A available in the kitchen, allowing for instance our stove to use up to 6400 W!
With induction stove, we can give so much power that a ceramic frying pan cracks around the edge!! And not the cheap ones.
It’s absolutely insane how fast you can boil water, way way faster than anything gas. It’s also way more energy efficient as a gas stove waste approximately 55% on average, and even more on high settings, as the heat simply escapes around pots and pans.
OK I guess i went a bit besides the topic, I just find it amazing how powerful a modern stove is. 😋

These dirt cheap consumer cards are nowhere near the half million dollar compute cards we can sell as many as we can make to AI data centers.
You get what you pay for.
We are working with numbers in the trillions of dollars now, selling for billions worth of components costing millions.
That RTX 5090 isn’t even close to a rounding error to us. So sorry for being a bit sloppy on the quality.

Trump is killing the American economy, the tariffs are a hoax to cover tax cuts to the 1%.
But instead they just increase inflation, and undermine the economy of the middle class and small businesses and farmers.

base game owners will now be able to play the Blood and Wine, Heart of Stone expansions for free.
Wow that’s seriously cool. 😎

Chrome OS is dead, that’s a failure.
Google is replacing it with Android.

So after Chrome has failed, Microsoft wants to try the same?

Kind of strange that they’re all gone IMO.
It was an amazing concept for a small group to play games together.
But no personally I probably wouldn’t, I’m to old for that now.
Edit:
I just looked it up, there are absolutely still internet Cafe’s here, just not as many as 30 years ago.

I was wrong, and I deleted my posts, because they were misleading.

USA is not an ally anymore, so not much need to sacrifice our own economy just to please them.
They won’t come to our aid if we need it, we can see that already with Ukraine.
Absolutely, and Steam will continue to dominate as long as they are by far the better service.
I hate monopolies more than most, but although Steam dominate, they are not a monopoly, and as a Linux user, Steam really has done a lot to help Linux, and they deliver good service.
Of course I also use GOG, no doubt Steam is the better service, but GOG is awesome too because the games are without DRM.
They also tried to support Linux, but the economy did not allow for them to do it properly, but DRM free is a huge improvement over the decidedly Linux hostile policies we see from some companies.
