Could you explain WHY you don’t think it could work? ‘Selfish turds’ is a bit too generic to give an answer to.

Can I be your neighbour?

Do we get to hit you back with a brick? :D

Stop calling them ‘breakouts’, it’s exactly what they want.

That sounds like a steam problem, not a factorio problem.

Honestly, vr porn is if anything less sweaty than most other vr games that have you moving your entire body around. With my Quest 2, a 3rd party fan exhaust attachment eliminated any humidity issues. Gesture control mode took care of no controllers.

What is the right kind of sad for that?

Maybe you get a copy to gift to me :D

I have no idea what the takeaway is from that video, except that he didn’t even get his facts right about the steam deck subsidies. Is it that hardware prices are going up? We don’t need a source for that.
What does ANY of this have to do with your claim that the steam frame (or alyx, because I can’t figure out what your actual claim is) is a flop?

No, Alyx, sorry. Should have been more clear.
Then why were you talking about material costs, steam deck comparisons, etc? How are you comparing a game to a hardware console?
Alyx to date has earned roughly $40.7m YTD
Alyx sold $40M in the 1st month alone and has broken the $100M mark by now, so you’re incorrect.
Alyx didn’t profit, so why would they even bother continuing to try and release Steam Frames?
Maybe because they’re two different things that can stand apart from each other. Also all your arguments so far have been moot.

Can you cite anything showing that Valve made any profits what so ever off of the Steam Frame?
I’m supposed to prove they profited off a product that hasn’t even been released yet?
Because in May they announcdd it was shifting away from selling them
What May announcement? Link please?

Nothing in the hardware they’ve released to date suggests a flop.

Almost like the check box is there for a reason and some things might not work properly or require extra testing if it’s enabled…

Are you sure about that? Because that’s not my experience. If you’re buying for a friend it asks you for their account and adds it to their library directly. I’m pretty sure the behaviour you describe was phased out a long time ago. Granted, there’s a possibility this is regional.

Buying games on steam doesn’t give you steam keys though, so this doesn’t really explain why sales on steam stopped being awesome.

Do it to an indie dev and I’m ostracizing you.
If an indie dev decided to randomly start removing content a year after release, they would deserve to have it done to them too. You get more leeway as an indie, but it’s not a free pass.

Kinda assumed that. Who really thinks Linux usage DOUBLED worldwide in a month?

Probably cost more than the car too. I understand their priorities.
I did have mine up and running in windows some years ago before I switched my daily driver, yes.
