Half a dozen? Pffft… amateur. I just saw people buying several copies from a keyshop vendor, having paid them already under the promise that the vendor will deliver. They have paid around 63€ per game. If the games arrive, they will be rich!! Especially when rockstar finishes the allotted key batches and the bytes from the warehouses end. In a big brain move, these guys found a loophole to become the richest* scalpers on earth!

*Assuming they recieve the keys and rockstar has actually a limit on the amount of download codes they can print and a quota in the amount of bytes they can transfer from the servers and, most importantly, assuming the game actually launches and doesn’t get delayed to change the ending that is probably going to be leaked soon.

It’s as if making a game that players enjoy and want to play while keeping the pricing honest and without bullshit battlepasses and dlc’s worked better than making the uptenth slop made to milk the players with nothing but the shareholders in mind. Shocking, I know.

Every time you buy EA slop, you are becoming responsible for this.

This kind of news doesn’t matter at all because “gamers” (the mass buying this stuff) don’t give a fuck, they just want to consume their slop. Gamers that care are the minority so in the grand scheme of these fucks, they are worthless to cater to.

The issue is not physical yes/physical no. The issue is that if a company decides to take a game you bought from you, they can do it.

What we should be legislating is a law so if a company delists and removes from your account a game, they should refund you the price you paid.
