bullshit. you could use any size car to illustrate the size comparison with a tiny home. the title of the post is talking about parking, and the picture shows a clownshoes emotional support truck-- parking problem

lol if you’re the type of douchenozzle who has to buy a truck that’s as big as a tiny home, then parking is going to be an issue anywhere you go
less than zero sympathy

if you go the steam site https://store.steampowered.com/about/ and hit install i think it detects your OS and chooses the correct install package. on mine it starts a download for a .deb file, i think that installs it natively? i know so little… but if you search up “install steam” plus whatever distro i’m sure you’ll find a lot of info

i switched to linux early 2025 and still know very little about it. i tried several distros and finally landed on pop!_os, which worked out of the box for me running AMD cpu and RTX 5070. i tried lutris and heroic and bottles but didn’t have much luck, definitely because of my lack of linux knowledge, but steam with proton GE latest works fine for 99% of games for me. there’s an issue in some games where the mouse doesn’t work properly for some reason, but i learned that logging out of the DE and back in fixes it

LOL i’m still not going back to windows

if it’s an article about the government doing something shitty for the non-billionaire consumer with a completely ridiculous bullshit justification, then it’s probably true
elon musk probably started whining that widespread 1GB fiber infrastructure would hurt his starlink money

i was so squeamish about switching to linux after using windows since the 90s. so thank you MS for all the absolutely intolerable bullshit in win11 which compelled me to finally go linux and ditch windows forever
and i love the bonus of getting to laugh at every article about MS desperately trying to regain a shred of the consumers’ not-quite-trust they’ve been shitting on for the last 15-20 years
go fuck yourself MS

maybe i’m getting my terminology bass ackwards, but i thought PCB meant just the platform with connections between contact points, hence printed circuit board, while a motherboard is a PCB with all the components, integrated shit (BIOS, onboard graphics/audio, wifi, etc.) soldered on and ready to build

the articles says PCB are set to rise 50% but the post title says mobo prices are going to rise 50%-- which is it? those are vastly different things

i remember the frantic pearl-clutching from that photo
what a long way we’ve–nevermind
bravo. that’s a lot more effort than i’ve put in this year. things have been rough
