Oh, nice, thanks!
(Oddly, the documentation that came up when I looked didn’t mention the socket options.)

Thanks! I’ve got the TV end covered, the issue is at the HAOS end. The LG serial TV integration talks to a Linux device node (e.g. /dev/ttyUSB0), so the issue is stuffing the TCP stream back into a pty.

Ooh, I have an iPad Air 2 with iOS 12! Sounds like it’s overpowered for this task. 😂 I’m going to check out this add-on when I get home.
There’s a Nat Geo TV show called Secrets of the Penguins which looks like a possible source. I found a video clip from the production entitled Penguins Invade Camp, but it’s on a Meta site, so I won’t link it here. It doesn’t have this image, but the tents are the same color, at least.

Recently, the nvidia-dkms driver updates wouldn’t build for 5.x series kernels, so if you hadn’t cleaned up old kernels, the update bombed out before updating the initrd filesystem, the system couldn’t boot without intervention. Thankfully, I noticed before trying to reboot my work desktop, and the solution was “apt autoremove && apt upgrade”.
But the install media for my desktop at home was 18.04, and it’s running 26.04 now. It has an AMD GPU, so it hasn’t had update problems.

No, that’s pretty typical even for an experienced Windows admin.

The indoor PM2.5 AQI topped out around 350 here, so I had to close the windows and run the AC. It was very easy to detect weather changes from the AQI graphs for a week.

The only one that I’m aware of is the new BILRESA from Ikea. It’s $9.99, so not much of a risk to try it out.

Nah, but the crash after which four people burned to death while talking to the 911 dispatcher because they couldn’t open the doors happened just outside my city.

The only thing nuttier might be door release handles under the floor mats.
On the command line, virsh lets you destroy VMs.
Thanks! I see now that HA documentation just assumes that one knows that one can use the URL schema to specify the "port, " without saying so. iYKYK, I guess.
